South Side Irish Imports was started in 1980 on the corner of 111^th and Sawyer by Linda Gorman, her mom, and her cousin. It was born out of our love of being Irish and our love of our heritage and neighborhood.

Today our stores are owned and operated by Linda and her husband Ron along with their daughters. We have 2 locations to serve you on the South Side of Chicago.

Come visit us and be amazed with the size of the stores! Our 111^th Street store is 6000 square feet of retail space and our Tinley Park location has 3000 square feet. Also be amazed with the selection and our seasonal displays. Products are grouped together for an easier shopping experience. The stores have a large display of Belleek China, Waterford Crystal, Home and Garden Products, Baby items, and South Side Irish Merchandise.

Our store prides itself on its helpful and knowledgeable staff and friendly service. Most of our employees have been with the company for many years.

2 Locations

We have 2 locations to serve you on the South Side of Chicago. The 111th Street location has been in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood since 1980. The Tinley Park location was opened in 1998 and is located at 7725 W. 159th Street in Tinley Park, IL.

Unique Products

Some of the unique products we carry include: South Side Irish t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, baseball caps, and glassware; and Irish policeman and fireman shirts. We even work with the Belleek Factory in Ireland to design special pieces for our Fall Belleek Signing Events.

South Side Irish Imports is the official licensed parade store for the South Side Irish Parade. We exclusively design and sell the official annual shirt for the Parade, which will be available at the end of February.

Established in 1980, our family owned and operated business on the far South Side of Chicago, has 2 locations to serve you: 3446 W. 111^th Street Chicago, IL and 7725 W. 159^th Street Tinley Park, IL.

The 111^th Street location has 6000 square feet of rental space. It is probably the largest Irish store in the Chicagoland area featuring Irish made jewelry, sweaters, crystal, Belleek China, and South Side Irish merchandise.

The second location which opened in 1998, in Tinley Park, IL, has 3000 square feet of rental space featuring many of the items previously mentioned.

Recently our stores added a Catholic Corner to their locations. South Side Irish Imports now stocks a variety of religious gifts for Christenings, First Communions, Confirmations, Weddings, Memorials, and much more. Rosaries, Saint Medals, Crosses, statues, blessings are just some of the items the stores carry.
